Modern WindowsВ® applications are very complicated "beasts". They include orotund numbers of files that are often saved in many different places, not just in the application's own platform directory. In summation to this they also have level larger numbers of settings, sometimes hundreds, which they read in Windows' central database, which is known as the WindowsВ® Registry.

Ashampoo UnInstaller Platinum Suite works by creating two "snapshots" of your organization, one before you install an application and another one forthwith afterwards. These snapshots read the intact status of your computer organization, including completely registry entries, the locations, dates, sizes and versions of completely files and the contents of completely configuration files. After creating the second snapshot the platform then compares it with the inaugural and records completely the differences in a special file called an "installing log file", or "log file" for short. When you separate Ashampoo UnInstaller Platinum Suite to uninstall the application it rafts a previously created this log file and uses the information it contains to fix everything on your organization to the way it was before you installed the application.
